Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actress. Cornish is known for playing Heidi in Somersault (2004), Fanny Brawne (Bright Star 2009) Sweet pea from Sucker punch (2011), Lindy in Limitless (2012), Clara Murphy (RoboCop) (2014) and Sarah in Geostorm(2017). The actress worked with Martin McDonagh to produce Seven Psychopaths and Three Billboards Beyond Ebbing Missouri. Cornish received the first Screen Actors Guild Award in the ensemble cast of this film. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, star of Adventureland 2009 and many other films was her father. Ann McDonough was her mother. Betty Gilpin chose to act because her parents supported and loved her. When it came time to go back to college, she picked Fordham College where she learned to develop her skills. Gilpin began to act as a part of Off Broadway productions shortly after graduating, while also casting for roles in TV and film. The actress was invited to guest star in the NBC show Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001-2011) and then followed that up with small roles for the films Ghost Town (2008) and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin continued to land mostly TV guest appearances in the subsequent years before she got her first break, in 2013, when she was offered the part of Nurse Jackie. Gilpin starred in Nurse Jackie for 34 shows as the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin before the show ended on June 15, 2015. Gilpin played the lead role in True Story (2015) the following year.
