Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler, a Z-grade movie critic, is famous for her sarcastic appreciation for dumb action films as well as horror films. The reviewer began her journey in the latter half of 2009 and, after garnering some recognition in the forums (under her old handle Obscurus Lupa) she joined the ranks of the Channel Awesome family. The site remained active until mid-2015 in the year that Obscurus Lupa Presents was retooled into Movie Nights. She has two podcasts co-hosted and also covers Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Here and here you can watch her video. You can also find her videos on Twitter and Tumblr. You can't have enough Allison? Ninja the Mission Force features Allison as Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! also featured her. She has also been a guest star on numerous episodes of his series Midnight Screenings. She reviews horrible films aimed at children, or RiffTrax shows as well as sometimes adult-oriented films (including Baywatch (2017)). Her first review was in late 2009. Her name gained lots in popularity thanks to her participation in the Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of their family. She's been featured in numerous Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She appeared on many seasons of Nostalgia Critic and was a one of the original members of the Channel Awesome family with Doug Walker.
