Annette Funicello measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Annette Funicello's dancer was discovered on the streets of Fullerton California by Walt Disney at just thirteen years old. In spite of the opposition from the Mickey Mouse Club co-stars, Funicello was added to the cast in the show's first season, and wasn't required to audition. But, the Disney's instincts were to be right as she quickly was the most sought-after star on The Mickey Mouse Club and featured in her own narrative Adventures in Dairyland. Soon it was obvious that Funicello required records so that she could maximize her talent as a teenager singer, and even though Annette was not a fan of her ability to sing, Disney engaged established arranger Tutti Camerata to guide her career as a recording artist. Funicello began to enjoy recordings and collaborated with Camerata who was one of the only forty-something arranging professionals of the time, and who understood the fundamentals of early musical styles. Her albums slowly improved beginning with her third album, Annette Sings Anka, probably the first LP to consider the music of a rock musician as an actual repertoire. Funicello made an appearance in Beach Party which was one of five hugely popular film series, which often featured Frankie Avalon. Although produced by AIP the scripts were privately reviewed and signed off by Walt Disney, in order to ensure that Annette's image was kept spotless. Funicello's vehicles in the film helped help other bands get started; Stevie Wonder made an appearance in Muscle Beach Party
