Annette Funicello was 13 years old when she was discovered by studio head Walt Disney dancing in an amateur production called Swan Lake in Fullerton California. Annette Sings Anka - her third studio album was the very first to use the songs of the rock star as part of her collection of music. The first film of Funicello's beach parties, Beach Party was produced by AIP. Walt Disney personally reviewed the scripts and gave his blessing to every one so that Annette to maintain her perfect appearance.
